He said they are trying to keep in what they think is about the middle of ADM for GT car allocations. They're hearing some California P dealers are $200-250k ADM. SMH. I'll keep my CGTS...

If you get on a list now, you will likely get an allocation, but perhaps not until 2018 (and maybe even late 2018). It also depends on whether you want it now and willing to pay markup.
I put my name on allocation list on 2/15/21. $1k deposit was required. I received my allocation for my 2022 Cayman GTS 4.0 on 4/1/21. Original lock date for my spec was 5/28, but got pushed to 6/14. New to Porsche and new to this forum. Regarding the GT4 RS allocations, I just signed and wired for one yesterday at 50k over; European delivery after August. I had planned on asking if it was a good deal but it seems like I was very fortunate and should be thankful based on some of these posts.

It is certainly a regular GT4, that's the regular wing, bumper, side scoops, those are all factory stock. Totally agree. I was lucky to get a GT4 allocation. I would not have purchased a GTS had I not received the GT4 opportunity. It will be interesting to watch the BMW M2 sales numbers. Hard to compare pricing as GT4 has ADMs currently and I'm sure most Emiras will not be sold at sticker either. I'll wait and see if my Lotus dealer wants an ADM when the allocations are locked, if it's unreasonable I'll pick up a 718 GT4 manual (I had a 981 GT4, phenomenal car).Browse used cars. The GT4's throws are slightly shorter than the GTS', but yes otherwise I believe the gearbox is identical except for maybe some reinforcements and the clutch delay valve, though the latter isn't technically part of the gearbox.
