While driving slowly and with a bit of pressure on the accelerator the car has a distinct vibration. Engine Shudder after fuel fill up. I recently started having a fairly consistent engine shudder that happens soon after I fill up the tank with gas. It is only noticeable during idle, and disappears soon after driving a bit. There are no engine codes yet. I use top tier gas and always 91 octane.

I have a 2019 Ford Edge and a 2020 Ford Escape Titanium, both with 2.0 L ICE engines that have a shudder/surge. at around 20 - 25 mph when first starting out with cold engine. Outside temperature affects if it happens or not.

Starting from a stop at a light or intersection there is a significant shudder at 10-15mph. After that it's gone. Right turn or left, or straight ahead. Light throttle not so noticeable. Up hill or moderate throttle its significant. Everything looks good underneath. Kind of a mystery. This is a low gear only issue. (AWD 2005, 3L automatic).

2013 Escape Problems. We are thinking about purchasing a 2013 Titanium Escape. I've read on several forums about a lot of problems with vibrations,rattles,dash problems related to the heat vent, etc...
