You may want to argue that, in that case, all more the reason for such reset function. Legend Levels have their own section in the game menu. Every time you gather enough experience points, you will gain a skill point which you can use to unlock new skills. You should do whatever it takes to gain new levels, as the majority of skills is very useful and for instance can lead to a significant increase in weapon damage or your life bar.
