Dually to single rear wheel.
The bed was made for a true Dually pickup, not a cab and chasis 1 ton. The dually axle is wider than the cab and chasis axle. What I want to do is probably just put wheel spacers on my single whaeel axle and then bolt on 1 ton dual wheels. What I don't know is the width of a single wheel axle bolt face to bolt face vs. a dually axle.
There are lots of reasons to have a dual rear wheel on your truck when towing. One of the biggest is for the increased payload capacity.
