3. Re: underground tunnels. 12 years ago. There are several entrances around the buildings that are connected. One entrance is from the Fairmont with Dakota's entrance as the start of the corridor. There are also elevated walkways. These were designed to keep workers out of the oppressive city heat when walking around downtown.
