After watching all the original series bakugan, here is my ranking. Bakugan: Battle Brawlers (Season 1) Characters: 9/10 Story: 10/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Villian: 10/10 Supporting Characters: 9/10. Excellent way to intruduce us to the characters, the villian is honestly one of the best animated villians ever, Masquerade has so much screen presence ... Hot take: I think Hydranoid was the worst Bakugan villain. He barely speaks, doesn't have much of a motive given, and immediately switches allegiance to Alice once Masquerade bows out. He just does whatever Masquerade tells him to do, basically. The clear Helios MKII, quite a few rare bakutech, some consider white naga and the NV Japanese exclusives rare, and of course there are the tournament prize dragonoids (both the originals and the BP ones) Damn, just went though the internet to try and get information on these guys.. aside from Naga I can’t find anything!
The legacy TV show is much better even though it has its moments. The combat in the reboot show is a bit better than the legacy series I think. Bakutech are gorgeous but all the designs are basically different variations of dragonoid. I think (probably wrong) like 90% of them are just a single headed dragon.24 votes, 12 comments. Hydranoid was the first Bakugan I ever fell in love with, I loved his fighting style, his appearance is unforgettable, and I love Masquerade and Alice.
