If there is no operation of the doors at all (switching from defrost-floor-vent) then verify vacuum supply on the vacuum line at entry of the firewall (it's easiest to get to). If no vacuum, trace the line back to the vacuum supply.Step 1. Install a new actuator to the case and tighten the screws to 17 inch-pounds. Install the rear outlet duct and snug the screw. Guide the center console into your trailblazer and into position. Lift the parking brake to the fully engaged position. Connect the wiring connectors, and slide the console forward.The heater and a/c fan in my 2003 Trailblazer hasn't worked on speed 5 in a LONG time. At my work we have Chevy astro vans ranging from 99-03 and all six had this same issue. We finally figured out that the 1/8th vacuum line from the manifold that feeds the hvac selector switch was broken. Once we fixed that line the problem was solved. I hope this helps.
