I did all the surgery questions on Uworld and scored around the 20th percentile there. I listened to Emma twice. Watched all the surgery OME vids. And completed the Zanki deck.

Despite coming off a decent step score, I am finding these exams challenging. As someone who studied his ASS off for shelfs but only hit >90 once, there's no secret. They are just smarter than you or me. UWorld consistently throughout the rotation and zanki for the most part. I always do the NBME practice exams.I had a shockingly consistent ~56% on every UWorld section for every shelf exam. Got the above the honors cut off for most of them and usually didn't finish UW. UW for shelf exams imo is literally worth 100x more as a learning tool than anything else.
