May 2, 2019 · Thanks! Sometimes the windows on my OB will stick to the rubber weatherstrip and not budge. Eventually the motor wins out, but you may want to try running a credit card or something else thin, flexible and not sharp between the glass and rubber. Then clean the weatherstrip with silicon spray to help prevent it from happening again. Then push it all the way down and hold until it stops. If it's not defective that should reset it and it will work with the driver side control as well. Also now that I removed the door panel completely and reinstalled it the driver's switch no longer operates the front passenger window or the rear driver's window. There's a window reset procedure that might fix this - maybe caused by the battery disconnect. I believe it's in the owner's manual, but I have a bookmark with the procedure. I'm guessing you can do it on your passenger side, too.

The lock button - in fact all buttons, including the remote mirror are illuminated. When you lock all passenger windows from the drivers control panel, all of the window switch lights go out EXCEPT for the driver's window switch on the driver's panel. The breaker, assuming it's working probably, is clicking because there's a short, or at least an excessive current load, downstream. The window power wiring goes from the breaker to the power window relay, which is normally closed whenever the ignition key is at ON, and from there to the switches.

I've also taken the switch apart inside a large ziplock bag (to catch any small parts that spring out) and manually clean the contacts with cleaning fluid and fine abrasive paper.
