The 19-2 was made from 1961 until 1967, then they went to the 19-3. Your serial number will start with a K. My 629-6 is prefix CJE and was made late 2005. The -7 and -8 have always confused me. I have seen no definitive descrpiption of either one other than -7 was two piece barrel and -8 was slab side barrel.
