My whole music library I made for Zune takes 26.4 GB while, it takes 22.53GB on Zune. 4.86Gb of 26.4 GB music library is lossy audio files. Glad it works now. Check the tags on your MP3 files (in Windows file properties, not Zune software.) I personally never used a VM for Zunes, but I did make a Win 8.1 VM (I have the opposite issue of everyone here, I have XP and 7 machines, nothing above that) to sideload apps onto a Windows Phone I have, and after passing the USB control to the VM, it worked fine.
