The light next to the System Heat switch comes on only when the bay heater is activated by the snap disc. To answer your question, when I'm not running the water full on, instead of the water coming from the expansion tank until pressure decreased to a certain point, and the pump cycling on to recharge, the pump short-cycles every couple seconds, depending on the flow. A jumper to disable the salesman solenoid isn't needed if the wires (s) from one side can be moved to the other side.
