Jan 7, 2016 · It ran fine for the first 3,200 miles then upon startup this evening after filling up at the Shell fuel station in Frederick, MD off I-270/85, it immediately threw up the yellow engine warning icon and said "Service Emmissions System", see owner's manual, 175 mile limit and 65 mph max speed. WTF. There are four primary emissions systems on the L5P. EGR, DOC, SCR, and DPF. All of these systems with the exception of EGR sit within the exhaust system. Deleting the L5P DPF will remove not only the DPF but also the DOC and SCR components, and the need for DEF fluid.
