I am running on a FuelMoto tune and PV1. Bike has stock header with no cat, S&S MK45s with dB reducers, SE air filter and now the cam. Install went great, the FM pushrods were really easy to ... Results show very good gains with each cam. Each cam was tested with the same combination which included the Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipe, Jackpot mufflers, FM Pro billet air cleaner ... The woods TW-6 is a good cam at that compression. Also the TW-26 or the TW-37 with the 26 being more bottom end oriented and the 37 more mid and top end oriented at that displacement and compression. Also S&S510 or Kuryakyn TC-1. Any one of these will do what you want very well. My personal favorite of the lot in your situation is …Zippers 575 or Crane 290-2 or S&S 570 all come to mind so does a Wood TW6. All of these are available in chain drive but if the bike will be racking up miles I would go gear drive. If gear drive is prefered the Wood TW5 could work well too, but may be noisier than the rest. The TW6 is the only "Bolt-in" grind of these.The 254 just runs HOT! So far, it's doing great. Good power, quiet, and seems about 20 degrees cooler.
