Yes justiciar is tankier than bandos stat wise but killing things faster means less time needed to tank hits from it (and more chance at drops/hr, ultimately the goal here). It's really not worth soloing. For gear you'll want tassets, tent, hally/ags, guthans, warrior helm/f hat, karils top for duoing and bcp for trioing. If you want to tank you'll need guthans, tent, dfs/crystal shield, and sgs or ags.
