The fix was to take an Xacto knife and scrape the top part of this outline. It probably required a MM or less of material removal. You caould also probably slightly file the thumb lever itself, but it would need to be removed. But it has a hammer, which in my opinion is a good thing. But the Security 9 is a very functional pistol. Accuracy is not quite as good as the American Pistol, but it is adequate. I like the trigger. I hate the sights, probably spend the $77 and get a proper set of steel sights from Ruger. I also hate the safety.
