We got hooked looking for sea glass on a visit to St. Croix, the semi-private beach behind the villa was littered with it. We look on St. John every year but have only found a few pieces at Great Lameshur, Francis and Leinster.

Fell in love with St. John on first visit in 2021–gobsmacked, “you get me St. John” in love—and we are returning for the 4th time in June. We love snorkeling (every day; my meditation), hiking, excursions on Voodoo and Kekoa catamarans, and staying close to Cruz Bay …fantastic foodie dinners, live music ...We just spent a week there with North Swells and south/se winds. Most places were fairly churned up so viz was bad all week. The most favorable conditions were Francis to Maho, and Leinster to Anaberg. Pelican rock was also pretty calm, but winds much more southerly next few days, with some good gusts today.

Save. St. John Hardware (up past Starfish parking lot) sometimes has them. They are a hot commodity and usually run out fast. If you buy they will probably cost you at least $50 per chair. I stayed at Veridian Garden in 2001 which I believe is directly in front of Limin Time. We took a boat ride past Veridian Garden in April (last Month) and I noticed that there is so much growth and thick bushes around that area now that I wonder if the view is really good at ...We just spent a week there with North Swells and south/se winds. You can go all week and never loose sight of land but sail for 3-4 hours a day and spend the morning or afternoon at a different mooring on a different island. With the USVI there are 3 main islands. The sail from St. Thomas to St. Croix is a little longer than up drake's channel.

Easiest and quickest is to get either a rapid antigen test or rapid diagnostic test at either Walgreens or CVS. Both are acceptable and quicker than a PCR test (and only an easy nasal swab, not a brain probe LOL). I keep a day's worth with me for walking around money and the rest in the safe. Credit cards are accepted at more places these days, but some do not accept AmEx.

I would also recommend bring the smallest bottle of olive oil you can find at your grocery store. 8. About St. John. Ecotourism is alive and kicking on St. John. There's more than enough to do on land, from watching for wildlife in the national park to hiking miles of trails or strolling sandy white beaches.
