I suspect there is one available for a more recent or current Chevy truck or SUV that would suffice (fit) and be a lot cheaper. Did not investigate as mine just has a small chip on an edge. Probably the best thing would be to open the door first so it indexes the window down on the driver's side then disconnect the battery and either remove it or with it disconnected it should not have any drain on it.
