Tried giving Popeyes another try. They've been open for a while and have had plenty of time to figure it out. Today I ordered 3 piece chicken meal. I got a breast and 2 wings. For a side I got red beans and rice. The chicken had obviously been cooked a long time prior to my arrival and was dry. Beans and rice was ok. Biscuit was good.
Arrived at 11:45 AM for lunch expecting everything to be fresh. Boy was I wrong. This was the worst chicken meal I have ever had at Popeyes and I've been to many over the past 25 years. The chicken tasted burnt and was very dark brown and dry even though dripping grease. The fries were cold, soggy, greasy and limp.
