That is the biggest hurdle for this build imo. You won't be a full gunslinger, so won't have your way reload until later levels to help even out your action economy. And Magus in general is already pretty action starved. Starlit is less so than the melee centric ones, but spellstrike being 2 actions makes it tough to fit in reload actions. 15 point buy and distributing 15 points are not the same thing so make sure you understand how to start your ability score. human and elf are both good for magus. Plenty guides online to show the standard build specifics. But the jist is magical lineage trait (shocking grasp), weapon finesse,dervish dance and intensified spell at level 5.-Magus is nearly unplayable in melee. Action economy and AoO from enemies make it just worth than a range magus. You have not many hit points and medium armor. -To keep up with a normal martial, you want (or must) use spell strike every round. -Greater invisibility is so good that you want it basically for every fight.

Magus is complicated for beginners. They're originally intended to be used with one empty hand. Although most of us use them with a 2handed weapon. This does the most damage, while sacrificing a minimal amount of AC. Dex build magus has the most AC, but deals significantly less damage than the 2h str build.
