JimPghPA. Rear dif fluid should be changed every 15 K miles, ( 20 K at most ) and ONLY USE THE CORRECT HONDA FLUID. The front differential fluid uses the transmission fluid and is not separate. Just change the trany fluid. And it should be changed every 30 K miles. And ONLY WITH THE CORRECT HONDA FLUID.

The tsb procedure is the same as the change, it is changed and flushed , twice though, to assure any and all contaminaints are removed.

Changing the VTM-4 fluid is easy, but there are a few things that you will need to heed: -Drive the Ridge a bit to get the fluid warm, just as you wouid when changing engine oil. -Drain with the vehicle rear downhill or use a ramp or jack in the front to accomplish same.
