If you like seeds like this there is a cool mod called "island with mainland". It makes the world basically into a big island with a fair amount of ore in a donut of water surrounded by mainland. The settings matter more than the seed. What I usually do is keep biters off (or way down), cliffs off, water turned pretty low, all resources turned to minimum size and richness, maximum spread.
