you can farm the birds before starting the quest and you don't need the carcass only plumes. U can get all the plumes, and all but one of each flower. Once u get all but 1 they stop spawning. Now that wasn't the case with all of them but most of them. I was able. Thanks this just saved me,i was going to load another save from chapter 2. You can collect all the plumes and gator eggs prior to starting that mission, there’s no spawn restriction there. I have all of those in chapter 2. I am in chapter 4 as well and haven’t actually talked to Algernon Wasp yet to start the mission.
