Yeah the fender opening is the same. However the factory 5.7 inlet tube takes the fender opening and makes it smaller where it goes into the airbox. The Ecodiesel inlet tube stays the same size as the fender opening right into the airbox. Feb 2, 2023. #1. Good day, A FASS kit was installed on 2016 RAM EcoDiesel and it never worked properly. FASS did replace the electric motor on the FASS pump. Now the CP4 injection pump is suspect for failure. There are no codes associated. The high pressure pump is not producing pressure, via a Snap On scan tool.2016. Engine. 3.0 ecodiesel. Hello. I had the same issue. Intermittent. One day no or little heat the next trip lots of heat. Took it to the dealer and they said a partial clogged heater core. 2014 ram eco. Not real confident in.ther troubleshooting abilities. Never heard of a heat core plugging after 5 year. 120k. I assumed sticky thermostat.
