If you're using the Blood scaling type, you can't grease it. You'll have to use Standard scaling. I think if a weapon causes a passive effect you can't put a grease of the same effect on it. You can see the damage with the blacksmith, just compare when it's at +24 with what the stats will become at +25. Yeah, the stats clearly increase. But I actually test it with the mobs in gatefront ruins before i maxed it. 507 with the first slash. Turn to lower than 500 after I maxed it.
