Personally I do Jack Westin every single day (its free). I would honestly do both because UWorld is also representative of the exam (or so Ive heard). My friends who already took the MCAT used both and did well on the CAR section. Honestly, the more practice the better!! I have the AAMC Car 1 and 2 question pack and CAR 1 pack is fucking harder ... It's somewhat harder than the AAMC material but it gets the brain working in terms of figuring out which answer is the right answer. It teaches you how to properly eliminate 2 out of the 4 answer choices and how to win the 50-50 between two similar answers. Jw is good for reinforcement and repetition. I'm new to UWorld!UWorld is, on average, slightly harder than AAMC. Relative difficulty imo would look like: CARS QP1 > UWorld, FL1 > average MCAT CARS section. I've been getting 70-80% on UWorld, which I think agrees with my FL1 CARS score of 127. Keep in mind I've also done all of TPR 2016, EK101, and NS108.So far the AAMC has put out five full length practice tests: one unscored test and four scored tests. The unscored test (called the Sample Test) gives you percentage scores for each section but not your scaled scores (118-132 and 472-528). The unscored/Sample Test is much less useful because it’s not as representative of the real test.
In my experience, Uworld P/S is far more helpful than the SB. And people generally recommend the section banks as one of the best practice resources for the real thing. uworld P/S is so amazing - honestly really cements all the definitions and theories - would 100% recommend. Uworld P/S is the best in the business.
