I'm currently at the start of chapter 3 and in this playthrough I've decided to do very much early. I've just started to collect orchids but after collecting one shy of the total needed I can't find a final spawn.

Thanks this just saved me,i was going to load another save from chapter 2. You can collect all the plumes and gator eggs prior to starting that mission, there’s no spawn restriction there. I have all of those in chapter 2. I am in chapter 4 as well and haven’t actually talked to Algernon Wasp yet to start the mission.
