QB has 40 college partners and they may add more next year. There are a lot of liberal arts colleges on the list where you will get a solid education and graduate with excellent job prospects, but without the Big Name. You're not forced to. You can apply either independently of QB or select them on the QB RD form so that they get your QB application as well. This depends on whether you feel your QB application adds to your application or not. Even if you're a finalist and you apply independently of QB, you would still be part of the school's QB Scholars ...

once you submit the common app, I believe u receive an email for the USC portal which is also where you’ll finish the remainder of the application (ex: uploading financial aid documents). The supplements are in the common app. Click on USC and you should see the “Writing Supplement” section of the app.
