While the AR platform is more receptive to mounting optics, there is a whole generation of high power shooters that would disagree with the blanket statement made here. The M1A can be a very accurate rifle, just as the AR can be.For the real scopes you need a mount for it from mechanic 3, sadly can't remember the name right now. Definitely can install all scopes, they just need different mounts. Level 1 and 3 or 4 mech have one.
