The curriculum for CSE 1111 looks like a dumbed down version of 2111, I highly recommend taking 2111 if you get the chance. You will be hard pressed to find a career in which you will not utilize the skills you learn in that class, it's also particularly helpful in internships. 2111 is a tremendously useful course. Study the slides, labs, and homework. I found the exams to be pretty easy. All I did was take the practice exams and then glance over the notes. The practice exams are similar to the real deal i’d say. I would definitely study a bit just to make sure you know the formula.
