The breaks were on the frame behind the lower A-arm mounts. Electricals; start checking to Honda Spec. On the CDI, you will need a good working unit to chaeck against. Also look at the ground, Coil, Coil wire, Flywheel, boot, ect again; double check...put a teaspoon of fuel into the spark plug hole and see if she fires. If she does; it is a fuel delivery issue.

If you think it is a jetting issue (that is to say, you KNOW it is not an ignition problem), and you think it is leaning out on the top end, you would go up on your main jet, not your pilot. Again, assuming everything else is working OK, start with a true plug chop and see what it looks like.The new TRX5B or 'B' series of pipes fall short on HP by 2% to 3%...they do run 5-10 degrees cooler than the older TRX5 & TRX9 pipes. 2% to 3% equats to 1 to 1.5 HP for the average engine. First on the trx250r curves for the Vortex I could not finish the 9 & 0 curves. the motor speed control board quit on me after #8. The defalt curve is #1 then on the cdi there is a dial from 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0.

Puma is going to be a little more costly to build. I would bet that power between the 2 setups (same cc) would be very close in hp/tq. I have yet to see any of the smaller puma cylinders run.
