A 6 weight Radian or Meridian with a 200 grain sink tip and an unweighted fly (maximum 4’ of leader) can easily hit targets 75-80 feet with great accuracy and get the fly down to the fish. The only thing that begins to screw up longer casts with big streamers are ones that cause a lot of wind resistance.

I fished the Dynamix 6 weight this weekend with a 250 grain sink tip line and it was a blast. We were hitting the banks with casts of 30-60 feet from a boat and it performed like a champ.
