Oct 26, 2014 · Turn the box back around, remove the 2 fuses and the the ELD + bar now just slides out. Replace and put the fuses back. Refit the electrical connector - mine was a bit tight for space so be patient, then refit the bottom cover & fuse box and fit the new tie clip. All working well now. John. The ELD unit is built into the under hood fuse box and works like an electronic Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and monitors current flow so the Engine Control Module (ECM) can control the charging system. 1. 1.) If you have a single P1298 CEL/DTC, then APDTY 116033 should work acceptably to clear this code. 2.)
