Also get a chaos dagger for critical. Long-term, the demon scar is really the ultimate weapon for this build. I would also suggest at least one dark infused weapon. The scaling and damage are similar to chaos but it will help against fire resistant enemies. Until you can use chaos/dark, just use fire/deep infusions.
