Brel G4 being a bit of an exception. So yeah it's still relevant for getting the main stagger bar down over time to knock the boss down, but not so much for the yellow-bar fail checks.

Brel G4 seems like the most fun fight in the whole game right now. It was as punishing as learning clown g3, but everything quickly feels like it's increasingly "[your/my] fault for being bad lol" instead of certain things intersecting to just make you feel incredibly unlucky, or seeming like terrible visual design (getting killed by dust kicked up by saws).

Brel G4 HM is almost certainly the most skipped gate out of the legion raids. There are plenty of that just went on to Kayangel and Akkan without ever clearing it.
