It's incredibly good for mid-late game players who don't have tbow / zcb ...I've done a solid 200-300 zulrah using trident/cbow + crystal armor, gotten as fast as 1:26 with thralls, it will absolutely suffice until bowfa comes thru. The bow is pretty decent at venenatis, I did about 270 kills with it (wear crystal top+bottom). It is also very useful for killing the vents at the abyssal sire. Its really sick using it at bandos doing 6:0 and super easy to learn. Imo it wasnt worth using at zammy and I preferred just doing melee kills.Crystal Armour + salve. Voidwaker is just a spec weapon with some niche uses, hitting with the spec is fun but bowfa upgrade more worthwhile imo. Depends what you want to do, but voidwaker is just a spec weapon. You'll get more use out of bofa, armour uses barely any charges, it only uses a charge when you take damage. Bowfa for business.

The only other realistic alternative while going dry for bowfa is crystal bow+crystal armour. I have no idea how it compares to rcb but id imagine it is better marginally. Would have to dps calc it. Rcb is serviceable though, I was running 250-350's with it and even got masori backpack with it and similar gear. It's similar or better than addy darts blowpipe on low def monsters, and bp wins with better darts.
