Actiontiles weather not working.

Apr 20, 2023 · Got it all working. I must admit figuring out the URL was a challenge. Weather Underground is actually api.weather.com and only V2 works, not V3. Had to create a Weather Underground account and register a fake PWS to get an apiKey generated. Now to create an ActionTiles tile. Fingers crossed… I run actiontiles on 3 fire tablets throughout the house. I just changed my home wifi. I updated the wifi info on the tablets and everything works except 3 of the 4 media tiles. I went to my PC to update the media tiles, but they work just fine on the computer. What's wrong with the tiles on the tablets? I highly recommend either getting actiontiles if you're on smartthings, or if you're not on smartthings, either jump to homeassistant and do it, or go make the switch to smartthings (or if you're gifted enough, just do a dashboard all on your own with IFTTT and other API stuff with whatever hub you're running).

The weather tile hasn't changed values since it re-appeared a few days back, i.e. it is always set at 8 degrees and is meant to rain. The old Groovy weather tiles are still functional and contain this data, but I expect them to die in the near future. Multiple weather tiles - I have 2 ST locations. The 1st has a hub and 2nd doesn’t. I could install a 2nd weather tile on the hub location and use SharpTools to use the data in automations for the 2nd location.

There is a built-in weather component in Hubitat, Open Weather if you get an API key is pretty easy to add. You just add a Virtual Device, Weather, then paste an API key and check your location.
